The unplugged printer in the other room just blinked on for a moment and made printing sounds. ._.

Whyyyyyy do you do this when I am home alone? ;-;

That room is also my craft room. I don't want to go in there. :c

Edit- Guys. Guys.

For the first time in my 9+ years on dA, I just had someone try and pick me up over a note. rofl

Never had that happen before. It's creepy and funny all at the same time. :P

I can't do scary games (seriously, anything that jumps at me out of nowhere and I'll be reduced to a puddle of tears) but I'm addicted to those ghost hunting shows and reading personal accounts of it.

I tried playing Ib by myself but I freaked out before you could even lose HP. :iconfinallyplz: So now I play it with my sister. It's less scary that way. :D

Still really scary though. :iconcryforeverplz:

AAAHHHHH!!!! TAKE A BASEBALL BAT TO THE PRINTER!!!!

Our car randomly honks even when it's not running and no one is anywhere near it. It did that when I was home alone for six hours the other day. I'm supposed to be home alone on Halloween too but I don't know that I can handle that....

Maybe it's some sort of short circuit somewhere that makes it randomly honk (I hope)?

Mine will do that, too. I'm guessing it's just lost signal and is trying to get it back? My husband has the same carrier, though his phone is one model behind mine, and it never does it.

It's been such a creepy week it seems.

I had my front door open and slam shut... which in turn woke me up. =\

Hopefully it was some sort of power surge or some physical, in this world reason that it happened. Or at least tell yourself that so you can be comfy in your crafting room. ♥

The door thing would really bother me. I cold have sworn once someone was trying to break down the door to my old room. Turns out the Vicodin I had taken had given me a night terror! Scariest thing ever, even though it was all a hallucination.

I'm trying to work with the theory that there was some sort of electrical surge in the air or something. It probably makes no sense but it makes be feel better. lol

It did bother me. Everything else involved with that incident just sounds crazy so I've only told a few people. I subsequently made some amulets for myself and my husband. I have one I'm sending off to my mom.

Oh no! I had a medicine when I was little once that made me hallucinate. I swore this curtain had eyes and.. it was just a mess. Anyway, I asked my husband about it. He works a print shop and he has tons of knowledge (that I don't even know how he does) about everything. I figured he might have a good explanation. He said sometimes if there's moisture in the air it can make the contacts for the power button jump and it would be as if you actually touched the button. So hopefully that gives you a bit of piece of mind. Especially since our state always has a ton of moisture in the air. :huggle:

I was at a craft show not too long ago and there was an older woman there selling handmade amulets and crystals, plus some really cool Tibetan prayer beads. I had talked to her for a little while, and the wanted to give me a few crystals and an amulet since she felt that I would need them. I declined taking them (she was offering them to me for free) since I'd want to buy them. I'm wondering why she thought I'd need them and it kind of makes me nervous.

The humidity in the air would make sense since I live in south Florida and the tropical storm had just passed through. It hasn't done anything else so I think it was a one time thing.

I had wanted to make miniatures and sell them to bring in extra money, but now I suppose it will be more of a side hobby since I recently found out my path will lead me to become a healer. I'm not sure if this lady was also a healer or something similar, but it seems like she just wanted to help out and keep you safe. Crystals just give the person who owns them things they need depending on the sort of crystal, so perhaps she sensed you needed something. I wouldn't be too nervous. If you've gone all this time without an amulet I'm sure you'll be fine. :aww:

 Well hopefully it will stay a one time thing. :D

My printer does the same thing everyday around 11 AM. I'm not sure about your printer, but with mine it's a maintenance thing (it likes to stay in optimum shape xD) It's off, but then kicks on like clockwork. When it first started happening I thought it was possessed by some printer loving ghost...

For the one that's possessed.........put rock salt around it?? That's what they do in Haunted Collector, but I'm not sure if that show is actually somewhat legit or totally phony. Gives me the chills though when I watch it xD

Strange things don't happen to me often. Apparently I'm "paranormally dumb"? Meaning I can't hear, see, or feel paranormal activities. For example, my dad is extremely intuit to paranormal stuff, when we went to see the Queen Mary, he told us later on that he could see ghosts loitering all over the ship. And even my mom got chills when I was looking at a display of a wedding dress of a person who supposedly died on the ship on her wedding day, but I didn't feel anything.

Also, the day after my grandma passed, in the morning my dad saw her ghost wandering around the house while he was getting ready to go to work. He ended up not going to work that day.

And our printer does tend to make random noises all the time, if you leave it on sleep mode and don't completely turn it off.

You're lucky - my dad's side is sensitive to it and I've got a bit of it. Apparently I've got a knack for attracting things so I try to keep everything shut down because I couldn't deal with it. :/ As much as I love reading creepy personal experiences I don't think I could handle one - actually, I know I can't. :P

I can't see anything, mostly because I don't want to and tell things to stay far, far away. I've had my grandfather who passed away recently in a dream of mine telling me goodbye, and my husband's deceased mother popped into a random dream of mine to pass along a message for me to give to him. That I don't mind so much. :)

The printer wouldn't bug me so much if it was plugged in or had a battery backup. :/

Something like that happened to me last year. It was about 3 or 4 in the morning, and I was talking to my boyfriend in my room on the computer. The desktop in the room across from mine kept turning on and off and it really freaked me out cause everything seemed normal, meaning no power surges or anything. I've had quite a few weird things happen to me, but I don't want to go on too much so I'll just leave it at that story.

My laptop will do that from time to time even though it's shut. I think it's just a power surge or something. Same with my phone - the screen will randomly turn on for no reason.

Also, re: creepy houses - I've had my fair share. One time in my mom's apartment I went in the bathroom with the light off, and saw glowing silver eyes staring back at me from the mirror.

Another time I felt creeped out but tried to ignore it so I could go to sleep. This apparently was a mistake. My teddy (that I'd had since I was old enough to stand on my own) bear that played music - you know, you push a button and it plays a song - started singing on its own. So I freaked out and took the batteries out.... And it happened again. So now I'm really creeped out, because how the HELL does something work without batteries or any other power source? But still I try to ignore the feeling and sleep... Then I hear a deep, hoarse voice whisper from my pillow "Hear me, hear me" but I'm stubborn and had had creepy experiences before and I was determined not to let it scare me, so I tried to ignore that, too. Then the blanket that had been tucked in to my chin randomly flew up three feet in the air, folded neatly at the corner of my bed in a huge triangle and untucked me, at which point I did what any sensible person would do; ran out of the room as fast as I can and sleep in my mom's room. No one believes me, and I admit it sounds like it was made up, but it's not. There's no way to make that sound believable, so moving on....

When my mom was little, she lived in a creepy house. One time, the phone rang. Usually this wouldn't be considered weird at all - except for the fact that their phone wasn't connected so there was no possible way for someone to call it. Weird, creepy things were always happening in that house, and eventually her parents found out from a neighbor that someone had been murdered there. They went into the bedroom, where the person had supposedly been killed, and there was still blood on the ceiling.

My family has had a lot of weird, creepy experiences. :|

Nooooo. D:

I would rather stuff happen in the day. Having it all happen at night makes it a million times worse. :(

I've never had anything physical like that happen that I've seen, and I plan on keeping it that way. Most of what I've experienced has been the feeling of being stared at, noises, and black darting shadows (which thank god are gone now because those were unnerving).

I'm glad you haven't seen or heard anything worse. My brothers used to share a room, and we switched rooms because the one I'd moved in to when we first moved in (the creepy room where all the creepy shit used to happen) was bigger, so they'd have more space. And I didn't see much after that. I was a little glad but it kind of sucked for them. =/
