The show went fantastically. Better than I thought it would. I made over double the cost of my table, as well as landing two rather large commissions ( one is a muffin bakery thing where the lady wants me to make all the muffins. The other is a lady who stages mini room boxes for a hotel chain that wants me to partner with them to provide food for the boxes).
In fact, I am able to seriously consider doing shows in other parts of the state and maybe start traveling out of state for larger shows. I was invited to a show in Arizona but unfortunately we can't afford it this year.
My next miniature show will be on my birthday weekend up in Lakeland, Fl. This show is 2 days and 3 times as big as this one. I'm really looking forward to going and seeing the other vendors I got to know well there. c:
I do have quite a few leftover items which I'll be posting on my Etsy bit by bit.
Oh, also, I will begin working in 1/2 scale and 1/4 scale now as well since those sizes seem to be really popular now. I just have to figure out how to reduce my food by half and a quarter in size...lol
