Graphic Designer Wanted!

Mon Nov 12, 2012, 7:37 PM
Hey guys! As you can tell from the title of this, I'm looking for a graphic designer. I'm looking to make a new banner for my etsy and Facebook page, something a little more professional looking than I can make. :P

*Edit: I'm also looking for a logo as well, something I can put on my invoices and use as a watermark. c: *

So, I'd love a few links to some of your previous works (2 or 3 would be nice). Payment can either be for actual money or as a trade for any of the items I have in my shop.

I'm only looking for serious offers as I need something professional for my business.

Thanks in advance! :)

I have a bachelor's degree in Communication Design, which includes logos & branding along with some web, advertising, and pretty much everything that goes into organizing/communicating visual information.

Here's my website; [link]

I also do my own promo/banner work on Etsy [link] and Facebook [link] . So I have some experience designing things for those sites.

I'm familiar with your work, and I actually think that you have a definite design style already, *but* What you need is someone to help develop a unified visual identity for you/your work that works on every site you use as an expression of what it is you do and how you want people to feel when they see it. You're looking for someone with a professional understanding that logo & banner designs have to be informative and memorable enough that people won't forget about you once they click off your site, and not just pretty pictures.

My philosophy on designing personal logos/brands is that the person I'm designing for should be fairly involved throughout the project. I don't just make stuff I think looks cool. I ask questions, I send my clients sketch ideas for approval, and I ask for/value their opinions throughout the whole process.

:) If you're interested, feel free to send me a note on DA or by email (listed on my website), and we can discuss the details of this project.

Ohm my goodness!!! Something that I can actually doooooooooooo!!!!!!

I went to a concert with a bunch of bands and drew designs for their names on the pages to sign (went well actually :D). They were mostly very very very quick sketches in pen. But I was thinking that maybe.. just maaaaaaaybe I could help you!

I don't have them uploaded because I need a really nice scanner which is a good walk away and it just happens to only work with my moms computer and there's the one at my house which only seems to work on my sisters computer which she is never home. BUT I can usually run into them after school or at night and I'll be able to upload them. ^^

I don't just draw on paper though, I have a tablet and would be able to do it right from the computer.

I'm hoping that this wouldn't be too terribly difficult and would be able to do this around school or (hey!) during Thanksgiving break.

I'm just giving me as an option right now ;) but yeah.....

Oh, and when I do get you those pictures, I will warn you that they all have a similar style but that was because I did something I liked and stuck with it but can easily do something else.

And what do you know.. my sister just got here >8D

I'll actually be able to get them all up by tomorrow when I get home from school! I was meaning to upload these in like... August.... but... well.. yeah.. :P I can email them if you would like that instead to have them on "file."

Oh, and Sta.sh is sooooo nice.

It's basically where you throw all the things you want to upload to work on later. When you submit a deviation, it has "save" now and it puts it in your sta.sh. And something else that's cool is that you can drag and drop files from your computer right into it. I like... mass uploaded EVERYTHING that I want to show you in around 10 seconds :3 I was so glad I just learned what it does because my mom is bothering me to get off the computer.

Oooh, okay. I usually have everything ready to go when I'm about to upload it. :P All the work I do is done through photoshop, so I usually take the picture, tweak it in photoshop, then post it here.

Now, if it had a queue option like Tumblr does, it'd be awesome.

I would like to let you know that I am slowly but surely uploading the pictures to the folder "Band Autographs" if you want to go look as I add them.

I'm rather new to Tumblr so what is the queue thing you mentioned?

I will. :)

When you post things to tumblr, you have the option to queue posts so that they'll post every hour, every few hours, or once a day, instead of posting immediately.
