Since I had so many questions about how I texture my waffles and waffle cones/bowls, I threw together this simple tutorial. :)

I have an ice cream tutorial in the works for tomorrow that will show how I make my ice cream (both soft serve and scoops) and waffle cones.

What kind of tool do you use? Is it a needle tool?

I didn't use a needle tool at all for this. I had a clay modeling tool that had that small waffle texture on it to transfer it onto the clay.

Can you bake it in a Toaster Oven instead of a regular Oven? Just wanting to know because my mother doesn't like heating up the house with the big oven. -Peyton

You can. In fact, that's how I baked mine before I bought a clay craft oven.

It would, however, I would recommend trying a piece of scrap clay first since not all toaster ovens bake the same. I tried baking in one that was given to me and I ended up burning the piece completely, even though the temperature and time were the same.

Just remember to place the clay on a pan you won't use for food.
