Tutorial for Polymer Clay S'mores Charms

Didn't see anything like this online when I went to make these, and when that happens and I find a technique that I'm happy with, I make my own tutorial. Hope you guys enjoy!

So I said I'd improve on my tutorials, and I hope I managed it! Took a lot longer than it probably should have.

Apologies for any misspellings and bad pictures. My camera is still giving me issues. :/

is it okay to bake again a baked clay?

Anyway this is awesome! :)

It is, as long as the temperature is the same. If it's too high you run the risk of burning the clay, just like you would in unbaked clay.

May I ask what the salt does?

The salt replicates the sugar that you sometimes get on graham crackers, since salt won't spoil on the clay. It's an optional step though. :)

They won't bake. You can even bake it more than twice. :)

Thank you. Your very easy to understand. I wanted to make some gram crackers the other day when I made some cookies. I totally guessed on how to make them but after I was done, it had been so much fun I now want to make other things. So thanks I will try this. I had wondered how to get the side of the cracker to look like they crumbly. I also had no clue how to get the color to turn out. So thanks for posting how what colors of clay to use to get the right look.

I went ahead and made some gram crackers last night. They turned out so cute. I made a pair of earrings out of them. I will post them up with a link to your tutorial later tonight or tomorrow. Thanks again.

when you push the craker to make the marshmellow to "lower" dosen't the craker looses texture and form ?

By the way, how do you make the pastel dust or whatever to color it?

The pastel dust comes from scraping it off a chalk pastel.

Don't see why not. I'd suggest trying it on a piece of scrap clay first; that way if it doesn't work, you won't waste any clay. :)

Translucent Liquid Sculpey. You can find it in a plastic white bottle with a black cap near the clay in the clay isle. :)
