Here it is, the cherry pie tutorial I've been promising to finish up forever. :P

It was supposed to be a YouTube video, but my video editing software had an issue. :/ Ah well, it's done now at least!

Here is the Pie Crust Tutorial I kept referring to:

If you happen to use this, I'd love a link to your work! :D

Using a bottle cap is very clever! One time I made a pie lil this but I couldn't make it realistic because I didn't have a glaze or TLS, whatever that is.

One thing that can make the process a little smoother is instead of having to roll out a ton of little red cherry balls, you use little round glass beads and mix them with a glaze of some sort. this is good for blueberry pies as well :)

You could do that and if you cover them up with a top crust, it looks like a real pie. I prefer to make each one since making them with clay seems to make the TLS "sauce" stick to them better. :)

With the chalk pastels will they rub off if you touch them too much?because I'm thinking of making something(a type of animal,I'm not sure what.im gonna attempt making it poseable) and instead of using colored clay or paint I was gonna try chalk pastels(I've heard eye shadow works too) but I wanna make sure it will stay on without glazing it

If you put it on before baking it, it'll stay. I have some colored unglazed pieces that haven't lost their color.

I'm putting together an ebook with a bunch of tutorials and tips. It'll be out at some point, hopefully next year (if I ever get time to sit and do it >.<).
