Studio Ghibli Food Charms, Set 2 by Bon-AppetEats Studio Ghibli Food Charms, Set 2 by Bon-AppetEats
Studio Ghibli based food charms, set 2. Made from polymer clay.

Second set is finished! This time we have food from Howl's Moving Castle (bacon, eggs, and bread) and My Neighbor Totoro (bento box).

It's been interesting seeing how the foods on screen are interpreted by people online, especially when it comes to foods that aren't so obvious. The bento boxes were a challenge since so many people seemed to disagree with what was in them exactly. I ended up going with one that had pickled plum, grilled fish, some sort of pea, and bright pink fish flakes.

The next bento boxes will be much smaller as these are way too big.

Fantastic clay work, ever thought of making Kiki's delivery service food like the herring pot pie and the chocolate cake?

I was absolutely amazed by how huge the bacon slices were in Howl's Moving Castle. XD
These all came out pretty good! Though people who don't know what bento are would probably be confused what they are, but that's okay.

HNNNNNNNG

Man, I think your idea of making the food from Ghibli films is fantastic. I always end up nearly drooling when I see food in one of those movies, and my sister and I are always talking about how if we were in Spirited Away we'd definitely have turned into pigs and it would be so worth it just to get a taste of some of that food.

Me too, especially with Spirited Away. I'd be right along side you as a pig. I have no idea what they're even eating, but I WANT it. lol XD

I would also want the ability that Chihiro's dad seems to possess of being able to fit an entire chicken into my mouth in one bite. XD

I could do that, though I'd have to make another as these have holes in the plates.

A ring would be $13.00, plus shipping ($3.25 US, $8.00 International).

In fact I may have to place a multiple order...
Maybe a Howl's Moving Castle meal ring and a Laputa toast and egg for an earring and a Totoro bento box for the other earring, would something like that be possible please? And if so how much?
If they can't be made for earrings I will consider necklaces charms instead! :)
