Studio Ghibli Food Charms, Set 1 by Bon-AppetEats Studio Ghibli Food Charms, Set 1 by Bon-AppetEats
Studio Ghibli movie inspired food charms, made from polymer clay.

I've been watching a lot of Ghibli films lately (just finished From Up on Poppy Hill - loved it), and I had a stroke of brilliance - turn the foods from the movies into charms! These are being made for Florida SuperCon in July, which means they won't be available online until after (if there are any left).

If anyone wants one now, however, you can send me a note. :)

The two foods here are the bread and egg from Laputa: Castle in the Sky and the ramen bowl from Ponyo. It's a slightly more cartoony style that I'm trying, as I want it to almost look like the food in the movies while trying to be somewhat realistic. The ham in the ramen bowls will be tweaked, as it didn't darken the way I'd wanted it to. Other than that, I'm pleased with the style.

And one of the iconic meals there are fish fingers and custard (don't ask, it's a long and hilarious story xD)

The beginning is a good place to start xD Hahaha no but in all seriousness, it's a really fantastic show. If you have Netflix and some time to kill every now and then, I highly recommend it ^^ The first episode is called "Rose." But ahhhhh it's such a wonderful show :D

I don't share them because those sites are known for being riddled with malicious programs. I don't want to be responsible for giving you a site where you can pick up all sorts of viruses/malware.
