Miniature Summer Picnicby *Bon-AppetEats

Entry for

Summer theme contest.

A spread of classic picnic foods: potato chips, celery with peanut butter, potato salad, sandwiches, deviled eggs, melon fruit salad, and a strawberry pie.

When I was younger, my grandmother would always have a picnic lunch for the family at least once a week during the summer. Eventually, as we all got older, she stopped doing these picnic lunches. It's funny how many memories from my childhood came back to me while I was making this piece.

All the foods were made using polymer clay. The pie tin is a bottle cap, while the small plates are ceramic plates purchased off eBay. The bowls are plastic containers I cut down and shaped.

Can you put this on Etsy.com so i can buy it. If not then that is okay. I just really like how the sandwiches look and the other foods. Please do not think i am crazy
