Miniature Gingerbread House Christmas Ornament by Bon-AppetEats Miniature Gingerbread House Christmas Ornament by Bon-AppetEats
Here is one of the larger pieces I mentioned before - a miniature gingerbread house Christmas tree ornament.

This was supposed to be 1:12 scale, but I think the pattern maker is confused on what the right scale is. :P Looks as though I'll have to make my own for these!

None in the shop yet, since my grandmother saw this and immediately asked for it. XD I'll be working on smaller ones for miniatures and making a few one of a kind ornaments as well.

I was wondering because of curiosity but how come you didn't put an eye pin the middle of the roof instead from the 2 eye pins on either side of the roof?  Is it a stability situation?  I thought in the middle would show more of the beautiful peppermint strip work you did.

If I remember correctly, it was a stability issue. It had to hand right from the tree so this way worked best.

wonderful!
i think you should create little villages or "places" so everything will become more like a statue then a miniature,
it will sell imo

this one is wonderful.

I actually am thinking about getting into making roomboxes. In fact, I'm making a few to use in an upcoming show for display purposes. :)

Very cute! There's something about the gingerbread that doesn't look quite right to me, but everything else looks great! Particularly the frosting!

SOOO cute!!! It's funny, because the Jefferson Hotel (REALLY expensive hotel near me) makes a large ginger bread house (as tall as me... about 5'3"... or more!) in their lobby yearly. I'm sure you can google gingerbread houses past. It's quite a spectacle, and I always felt so tiny next to it when I was a kid! AND THE DETAIL! This reminded me of that.
