Gift - 1:12 Chocolate Cake Serving Tray by Bon-AppetEats Gift - 1:12 Chocolate Cake Serving Tray by Bon-AppetEats
1:12 Chocolate cake and cup of tea on a serving tray.

This was a thank you gift for my aunt for all the work she's done making Bon AppetEats into a real business (in other words, taking care of filing all my paperwork and making sure I'm okay with the IRS and all that other fun stuff). It's her favorite dessert. :)

it's so small! I didn't know they made those, are they hard to find? could you find them in a store like Michael's?

You can find them easily on eBay and etsy. I was going to link you the shop where I bought mine from, but it's under construction apparently. >.< Just look for 1:12 scale spoons, forks, knives and you should find it.

so cute! er... is this the right size? [link]

the one you have in your pic looks much smaller but it may just be the perspective...

Nope, I believe those will be a little too large. You want to look for the Chrysnbon brand sets, which is where the one in the photo came from. :)

Here's a link to a couple of sets for sale: [link]

Though the ones I ordered from the site that's now down were a bit cheaper than that. I'm sure if you look around you'll find something. :)

I suspect that, rather than making really small meals, you're just making really big fingers and coins.

Thank you. :) Now that I've found a place to get the utensils at a decent price, I can use them in the larger pieces. It really helps bring them together I think. :)
