1:12 Gingerbread Stained Glass Tree Cookies by Bon-AppetEats 1:12 Gingerbread Stained Glass Tree Cookies by Bon-AppetEats
A little while ago, someone mentioned these cookies to me and I decided to see if I could make them in clay.

Through quite a bit of trial and error, it turns out that I can. :P These little stained glass cookies are actually sort of see through in the middle. :)

I'll be working with other shapes soon. These trees were just a test run.

They'll be available in my Etsy store and in my Weebly store later today.

I remember making these cookies one year...interesting but the candy bit was sadly to hard for me. I think I ended up chipping a tooth lol.

I think i'll stick with trader joes gingerbread men...nom nom :D

I got to ask, how did you do the milk lol.

I want to make these, but I'm so prone to accidents in the kitchen that I don't think adding molten candy into the mix would be a good idea. XD

The milk is a failed attempt at mixing a little chalk into water. It turned into a paste so I gave up. lol
